No Fail Roasted Chicken Recipe
My preferred lunch at work! This straightforward 3-step process makes it simple to make roasted chicken that never fails. It takes little effort to prepare, but it looks yummy in the Enther bento box.
Salt and black pepper, as needed
1 whole chicken, giblets removed
2 tablespoons melted butter
Fresh rosemary and thyme
Carrots, cut chunks (optional)
A hint of dry white wine (optional)
½ sweet onion
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Season chicken outside and inside with salt, black pepper, rosemary, and thyme. And fill the cavity with your favorite vegetables or onions. Next, brush the outside and excavation of the chicken with the melted butter.
Step 3: Place the chicken in a roasting pan with the breast side up and roast it until the juices run clear and the meat is no longer pink at the bone.
For a rapid roasting time, the chicken is good to weigh between 3½-4 lbs.
